Hello beauties! This is going to kick-off a series of posts to feature up & coming brands that you may not have heard of before but you need to know about to be on trend. I actually found this brand on Twitter, and was sucked in after the sight of the first photo of the clothes. It’s a fun, subtle twist on a suit blazer to keep it feminine yet strong. I can’t stress this enough – play with your make up!
Trust me, you have NOT done everything with that eyeshadow palette that you actually can do. Try different combinations, mix them together – have fun with it.
This is what I put together this week. My 3 fave looks:
This look above is using the Sephora / Kat Von D little saint palette. I added some bronze gel liner from Ruby Kisses and Victoria’s Secret mascara.
This is a dusting of Sephora collection silver eye shadow and lined with a Sephora collection black eyeshadow and slanted brush. Again, VS mascara.
Last but not least this is using the Hello Kitty Say Hello palette. I added a smudge of Smashbox cream liner in Sepia and my VS mascara.

Eyeglasses may have been an eyesore growing up; however, now that I’ve worn them comfortably since the third grade they are one of my favorite assets. In fact, they are my all-time favorite accessory.
Eyeglass frames are available in a variety of shapes and colors to suit that you as an individual. Embrace it. Try them all on. Understand what you love and don’t love so much about them. Then find that one pair that you can’t live without and rock them every day.

- Don’t worry about what other people think! If you want to wear a pair of red frames, do it.
- Use make-up as your friend, not your foe. Line your eyes, curl your lashes, shape your brows, and use a highlighter to make your eyes pop from underneath.
- Take care of your eyes. Wear sunglasses when you can, get transition lenses and get your eyes checked when anything seems irregular.
- The internet is a great tool for finding the perfect frame…

Is it just me or is 2013 taking off at lightning fast speed?
I’m feeling pretty on track. Walking about an hour a day and making educated decisions at meal times. I discovered Special K breakfast sandwiches and they are tasty! Only 6 weight watchers points and keep me full until lunch time.

Week one of the new year has come to a close.
Anyone still good on that resolution of theirs?
I’ve actually had a pretty tough time this week. My emotions have been off, for reasons I am not even completely sure why (thanks hormones.) So I’ve already veered way off track and eaten a half dozen chocolate chip cookies. I’m realistic enough to know that I’m a real person, and each day is a new day, so I will start again today. Now I’ll try and burn off some of the cookies I’ve eaten by doing some Zumba and speed walking – with weights.
It’s the least I can do to try and make myself not feel like Aunt Flo has completely taken over and ruined my life for the 100th time.
