Turns out the light is perfect for my skin tone being that I don’t get a lot of sun. When I do, I want/need SPF because I am fair and burn easily. When my products contain it I don’t have to think about it, which I love. Overall the product didn’t contain any perfume odors that I found to be off putting or irritating and texturally it made my skin smooth and evened out while providing medium coverage. One blemish I did have to cover with concealer, and I did still choose to use an under eye concealer. It felt clean and light not like a heavy foundation. I’ve only used one other BB Cream before (by Maybelline) and I do not recall any drastic differences other than the ingredient list which I prefer on this.

I’ve had really bad luck with tattoo concealer products over the years. To be honest, I was pessimistic coming into this review. I’m so pale and my tattoos appear so bright against my pasty white skin it makes it difficult to cover. Plus most concealers wipe or rub off in a very short time frame.

I ended up applying two layers of the concealer in light. Pleasantly surprised it matched my skin tone fairly well and didn’t make me look like a discolored monster. The formula is thick and easy to dab on. I used my finger. After letting one coat set I rubbed my finger against it and it didn’t budget so I dabbed on another coat of it. I wore it for an entire 8 hour shift at work, came home, showered, and I still had some concealer in place after scrubbing. This is the first ever tattoo concealer success story for me! Woohoo!
I love that this product will allow me to not have to button up my button ups all the way to the top button like a gangster. Just by covering up a small area on my chest I can feel like I’m not literally trying to hide anything from the world (even though I kind of am) I will also continue to use it on my wrists for when a long sleeve shirt isn’t quite long enough.
There is no drying or restricting feeling to the product when it sets. You can choose what color is closest to your tone, or as seasons change mix and match so it is always a good cover. I’m a new Tatjacket tattoo concealer fan!

Well this is the conclusion of week four using my BodyMedia Link arm band. I only weighed myself after the 2nd week and at that point I had lost a pound and a half, which for me is great considering I’m on my last 10 lbs to get to my ultimate goal. This is what some may say the most challenging point of weight loss. It requires incredible discipline and monitoring of intake & outtake which the BodyMedia handles for me.
One example. It completely breaks down your food intake and compares it to your goals.
Here it breaks down the calories I burned for the day down the exertion by hour of the day.
The more I use the online activity manager, the more I realize it is able to help me.

I’ve stated more than once before that deodorant scares me. The chemical names and the clogging of pores freaks me out in my over analytical mind. Not only does this deodorant smell divine, but it is soft on the skin. It is not clear however, so beware if you are going sleeveless. Considering I never can go sleeveless at work, that is not a problem for me. Now I want all the scents available for if my mood ever changes!

Ugh. Winter makes my skin SO dry and flaky. Even the thickest creams don’t help. I was feeling super frustrated, applying Vaseline of all things throughout the day to relieve my chapped skin. Then suddenly something arrived in the mail box…

Emjoi Divine Battery Operated Epilator
In a previous pre-baby life, I had & used an epilator. Until baby came along. Grabbed it & smashed it on the floor & shattered it into pieces. So ever since I have been longing to try this again since I didn’t ever get to for an extended amount of time.
On my first try using this Emjoi Divine batter operated epilator I had some pretty good success. I used it after a warm shower and dried off completely so that my pores would be more opened up. Now it claims to be a more comfortable tweeze. Maybe that is in comparison to actually tweezing each hair on your body individually. In an evil kind of way, it feels good. Since it is removing multiple hairs at a time you get that tingling, stinging, numbing, oh-my sensation – all at the same time.
Body parts…
For my arms and legs, it worked wonderfully. I like to remove everything so this process is time consuming. I literally despise body hair. Anywhere on my body. Except for my eyebrows and scalp. These were the most comfortable areas to use it on.
For my underarms and girly bits it was one of those hurts that made you want to well up a bit in your eyes. It really works great and much less painful if you can somehow get your skin to stretch out super tight or have someone hold the skin taught. Either way it is a bit more difficult and or less private. However it did work.
For facial hair it was quite simple and gentle. This is now my preferred method.
No doubt.
My only negative is it takes batteries. But it is portable which I like. The last one I had it had to be plugged in at all times which was super annoying.
Overall I really am thrilled to be using this as my new form of hair removal. I get frustrated buying razor blades and shave cream. Creams usually stink and make my sensitive skin break out. Lasers would be great if they weren’t expensive and weren’t going to ruin my tattoos – but they will… so epilator it is for me!

Here are the first two I tried out since receiving the collection.
First up is sparkling turquoise. The color = to die for. It made my hazel green eyes POP. Super cool for Spring and Summer around the corner.
There is actual glitter which gives it a shimmery, leathery look. I love it. The applicator on these liners is like a felt marker. They are firm but flexible, which allows for give and movement when applying which is great for the liner-challenged people like myself. This color didn’t budge even after wearing it for 12 hours! Super impressed.
Went a little thicker with the black liner. I always do that for some reason when I wear a black liner on its own. Same love for the applicator. The color didn’t flake off like some of my other black liners – when I go to layer coats. So that was a bonus!

Ever wonder how the Victoria’s Secret angels get their glow.

It is a soft shimmer that you can apply under or over your makeup. For this face of the day shown above, I applied it underneath my foundation as a base so that the subtle sparkle would glow through my makeup. I felt so amazing that day with my makeup. Funny how when you feel like you look good, you seem to act much differently. Is that just me? Anyone else?
You could totally just use this over makeup as well as a highlighter on cheeks, brow bones, etc. Plus at only $15 just a pea sized amount will take you a LONG way. This bottle is going to be in my go-to bin. Top drawer of my makeup desk. No doubt.

I pretty much squealed & fell out of my chair when I first saw these.
How perfect are these for Valentine’s Day?!
I am obsessed with the Nail Rock decals. They are always so bold & fun.
They’re easy to apply. Thicker than other brand decals, almost the consistency and formula of those that need to be heated on with a blow dryer. With a foil like sticker backing they are incredibly adhesive. My only negative comment about them is that they are designed for longer nails. Naturally, even my longer nails don’t really get to highlight the fun designs on their decals. However, I still go through the effort to use them because what I can get on my nail – I love.
