Does your local mall have an accessory store called Icing? Mine does. When I was starting my make-up kick, my husband was much more fond of finding a good bargain. We had wandered into Icing to initially look at nail polishes, when he suggested getting one of their eye shadow cases with 20+ colors. How could I say no? At first I used only the neutrals because I had no idea what I was doing. The few times I did attempt color it wouldn’t last which was incredibly frustrating. But now with a magic product that I was too stubborn to add to my make-up bag (shadow primer) even these bargain colors stay put all day. Whee!!
Unfortunately the palette does not have a name, nor do any of the colors. Sorry…
I went for purples, since it was Easter and all. Seemed soft and Spring-like. For about fifteen dollars I got all those colors plus it came with some miniature blushes, gloss, and a mini mascara – and now with proper tools I can get a multitude of looks from it. I’m not all about high-end products, so please don’t think I am from the products I have written about so far. I do very much love more affordable products, when they are affordable and of descent quality. I look forward to making it a good blend of both because I know that all women tend to splurge and or try to save a few bucks in many different areas. My goal is to show you the best of everything, no matter the price point.
Edit to add this photo – of the entire palette. You can see exactly what I’ve used and the tons I haven’t… I’ve got a lot of experimenting to do!
