I have a confession to make. I’ve been in love with Hello Kitty since I was a little girl and I never grew out of it. As I matured, I also fell in love with Sephora. That store is like a candy store for me. I could spend hours there just looking. But when Sephora collaborated to produce a Hello Kitty line it took everything within me to not blow my $100 gift card on only that product line. I did however get one of the nail polishes and some nail stickers. Yes, I really want a glittery Hello Kitty head compact but I have no actual use for it or what’s inside. The polish however, I will wear. So here it is, Sephora/Hello Kitty “Minty”
I was so excited to try the color that I didn’t give my cuticles the TLC they deserved. The bottle is just so freaking cute. The color reminds me of Baskin Robbins mint chocolate chip ice cream (my favorite.) It’s literally yummy to look at. This is 3 coats of polish. The formula was mostly consistent not runny like I expected it to be. Unfortunately my brush was all funky so it made it hard to paint neatly. There is absolutely no shimmer at all, this is a full on creme. Luscious.
I’ve got a severe urge to use my last $12 to order the “Blueberry” nail polish which is a pastel periwinkle blue creme. But I doubt I will follow through with it. I’m craving new eye shadows as well. If you do want to order the nail polish then you can go to your local Sephora or order online. They retail for $10/bottle and there is a variety of cremes, shimmers, and glitters.
Still trying to build my Facebook page as well – I can’t add an official link until I get 25 people to “like” the page. But the catch is you have to search on Facebook for “BeautyBesties” – the photo is my red holiday nails. If you like my blog – please “like” my Facebook too! Thanks!
